Capability Statement
I am a Health Service Management Graduate from Western Sydney University with Distintion Grade. Working in health and wellbeing at both, individual and social level has been my goal all my life.
I have been a surgeon for more than 20 years and a University Instructor for the last 12 years, from Venezuela.I have worked to promote, prevent, and cure diseases emphasizing education for patient, caregivers, students, and community throughout my career.I believe that working as a healthcare professional implies a commitment to excellence as we work with vulnerable people and communities who deserve to be treated with respect and empathy.I am enthusiastic about the personal and social well-being, for this reason I consider that the promotion and prevention of health is the best medicine we can provide.

The Values that govern my behavior as a health professional are:
Devote to health
Patients and community are at the core of everything I do, develop strategies that maintaining and improving the people’s well-being is my priority.
Respect and empathy
Respect for others must be always present in any place and situation. I try to put myself in the position of the other to understand their perspectives.
Collaboration, inclusion, and trust
I consider teamwork essential to achieve lasting goals, thus, I take into consideration the opinion of all stakeholders since they all have a voice and something to contribute to goal achievements.
Ethics and Responsibility
Providing the best service is only possible with constant academic updating, self-evaluation of our values and reflection that allows us to be better every day when it comes to providing solutions. This cycle of self-evaluation, reflection and constant improvement allows an ethical work attached to the moral and social values so necessary to work in the field of public health .

I try to offer quality solutions that are possible for my patients, for me and for the organization, to ensure the sustainability of the project.
